Devout
Spirited
Worship

“Prayer is a surge of the heart; it is a simple look turned toward Heaven,
it is a cry of recognition and of love, embracing both trial and joy.”
- St. Therese of Lisieux

The human heart was created for worship. It was fashioned to adore the King of Kings, the author of Divine Love, and the Pursuer of our souls. As St. Augustine once said, “You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You.” Our parish community strives to make our lives an ongoing act of worship — that our hearts may delight in their Creator and our souls behold His transcendent glory.

Rich
Sacramental
Life

“The Sacraments infuse holiness into the terrain of man’s humanity: they penetrate the soul and body, the femininity and masculinity of the personal subject, with the power of holiness.”
- St. John Paul the Great

The Sacraments are God’s greatest gift to humanity. They bring to existence the most pivotal moments in time, when Heaven and earth truly meet — namely, when Jesus Christ makes Himself intimately present to His children in a personal encounter with Himself. The Sacraments are held with the highest sense of reverence and honor at St. John Fisher Parish. We pray that the sacramental graces received in our parish may be a true source of strength, joy, and holiness for our parish community.

Catechetical Orthodoxy

“For where I learned Truth,there I found my God, the Truth itself;
which since I learnt, I have not forgotten.”
- St. Augustine

To know God is to know love. This is the highest calling of the Christian life — to delve into the richness of the mysteries of our faith; to pursue both a spiritual and intellectual understanding of Jesus Christ, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Our parish strives to bring to life the great joy and delight it is to study the Catholic faith and to know the person of Jesus. Through dynamic teaching and faith formation programs, we pray that our whole parish may come to know the richness and beauty that is Holy Mother Church.

On a
Rescue
Mission

“He brought me out into a broad place;
He rescued me, because He delighted in me.”
- Psalm 18:19

Each of us was created for deep intimacy with Jesus Christ. Since the fall of man, the enemy has sought to destroy this bond with our Creator. Yet, Jesus Christ is a Savior who loves to save. He longs desperately for reunion with us, and He delights in rescuing us back to Himself. It is our most fervent mission at St. John Fisher Parish to rescue as many souls as possible back into the loving arms of the Father where they belong. May our parish be a haven for all of God’s children whom He so fiercely desires to call back Home!
